My therapeutic approach is empathetic, non-judgmental and client-centred. I am queer friendly as well as queer identified, and my work is informed by an anti-oppressive lens.
I am currently a therapist-in-training, having recently completed my studies at The Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy, a program recognized by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Toronto (CRPO). I am also a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy.
People come to therapy for many different reasons. Maybe there's a specific event you need some support with, such as a conflict, loss or transition. Maybe you've been experiencing ongoing stress, anxiety, self-doubt or self-criticism. Sometimes the reasons for seeking therapy can feel murky and unclear. For example, things may be going well in your life, but you may have a hard-to-pin-down sense of something being "off". Whatever brings you to therapy, and whether it's easy or difficult to talk about, my intentions are to meet you where you are at with sensitivity, care and empathy and to co-create a way of exploring your thoughts and feelings, and what they mean to you.
